Adult leaders… do you need to get trained for your position?\u00a0\u00a0 Are you interested in more training?\u00a0\u00a0 Are you even trainable?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The answer to all three questions is YES.\u00a0\u00a0 So how do you go about it?<\/p>\n

There are a bunch of courses to take online.<\/p>\n

Want more training?\u00a0\u00a0 How about in a class room setting?\u00a0 Then the Buckeye Council’s annual Baden Powell Institute is for you.\u00a0\u00a0 It is the first Saturday in February.\u00a0\u00a0 Click on this link for information on the upcoming BPI for 2023<\/strong>.\u00a0 \u00a0https:\/\/www.leadscouting.org\/bpi<\/a><\/p>\n

How about ADVANCED adult leadership training?\u00a0\u00a0 Then Wood Badge is the thing for you.\u00a0 Passed down from Baden Powell himself, the aims and goals of this program WILL make you a better leader.\u00a0 For more information:<\/p>\n

We are not forgetting the Scouts.\u00a0\u00a0 There are opportunities for training for you too.\u00a0\u00a0 The major one is NYLT, National Youth Leadership Training.\u00a0 \u00a0It is offered twice each summer.\u00a0 These week long programs train Scouts to be better leaders in and out of Scouting. \u00a0 Scouts MUST have attended this course in order to be considered for election to Senior Patrol Leader.
