Troop 1933 is honored to be sponsored by the North Lawrence Fish & Game Club, and has been in existence for over 50 years, since May 1st, 1966. We are a Scout-led troop that camps 11 months out of the year. The only month we do not camp is September, which is when we conduct our annual fundraiser @ the Yankee Peddler Festival in Canal Fulton, OH.
We participate in the North Lawrence Memorial Day Parade every year. And at the same time, we host an annual Pancake Breakfast whose proceeds go towards sending our Scouts to National Youth Leader Training (NYLT). The Troop attends Summer Camp each year at Seven Ranges Scout Reservation in Kensington, Ohio. In July, we go on our annual “High Adventure” trip for up to a week. On our trips we have been to quite a few places like Wright Patterson Air Force Base, the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, Gettysburg, the Smokey Mountains, and the Summit Bechtel Family Reserve.
